Description

有阳光的地方，就有温暖；有好话的地方，就有温暖。所谓“好话一句三冬暖，恶语伤人六月寒”，什么是好话？正直的语言，柔软的语言，和合的语言，真实的语言，这些好话都是称赞如来最好的表现。

称赞如来，是“语言的布施”。语言是人际沟通的重要工具，运用不当，就成为伤人的武器。佛教徒的早晚课诵中，都有〈赞佛偈〉，以此赞美如来的功德力。但是，已经断尽烦恼的如来需要我们赞叹他吗？当然不需要。我们只是透过称赞如来这个修持，提醒我们在人我相处上，要能够学习赞美他人，借此带给他人欢喜、和他人结下一份善缘；也让自己在说好话的过程中，去除恶口、两舌，绮语、妄语的恶习。因此，学习说好话，以随喜赞叹给人欢喜，也是一种修行。
