Description

忏悔，是佛教重要修行法门之一。经云：“不怕念头起，只怕觉照迟。”这种内心觉照反省的功夫，就是忏悔。据《佛说观药王药上二菩萨经》所说，如果有人听闻、讚歎、称念，恭敬礼拜五十三佛洪名，生生世世不堕恶道，常值十方诸佛，除灭四重五逆诸罪。又《大宝积经‧优波离会》载，佛曾开示比丘众，若犯菩萨戒及一切罪，应当独自在佛前，礼拜诵念三十五佛忏，决定灭罪。过去亦有古大德，曾修此八十八佛忏，感身心清凉自在。由此可见，称念、礼拜、抄写八十八佛，功德威神不可思议。


人不怕犯错，只怕有错而不改，如果犯了错而能生起忏悔心，就有得救的动力。
